Our favorite things to do at the Wildlife Safari

Animal encounters
The Wildlife Safari offers a number of incredible up-close experiences with animals that live in the park. These must be reserved ahead of time (you can book animal encounters online here). If feeding the animals at the petting zoo isn’t enough, how about feeding a Lion?

Taking the Car tour
This is a MUST for anyone who visits, and is the experience that arguably made the park famous. Drive through dedicated areas of the park that showcase the most incredible animals from Africa, Asia, the Americas, and more! Guests will also learn more

Riding the train
If you are traveling with kids, the train ride in the Safari Village will be the highlight of their trip! This gentle ride is suitable for all ages and takes you through a loop of habitats that includes big cats, wolves, lions, and lemurs. The train is open year-round and tokens can be purchased at Guest Services in the park.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Tickets can be purchased at the Hotel front desk.
Nope! Guests are welcome anytime during the park’s open hours.
Most guests take 1 – 2 hours to complete the driving tour. The park is quite large and low speed limits must be observed for your safety and the safety of the animals.
Pets are not allowed anywhere in the Wildlife Safari. Service animals are allowed, but the park asks that extra rules be followed to ensure the safety of guests and animals alike. Guests may leave their animals in a kennel area while they visit the park, or you can reserve a pet-friendly room with us and leave your pets here while you visit the Safari.
Absolutely! The Wildlife Safari is a registered non-profit with a long history of playing a critical role in the preservation and rehabilitation of many incredible species that live across the globe. You can read more about their journey at wildlifesafari.net/conservation.
